A MATTER OF BALANCE
Do you have concerns about falling? Many senior adults experience concerns about falling and therefore may restrict their activities.
A Matter of Balance is a national award-winning program emphasizing practical strategies to manage falls and increase activity levels. The 16-hour course includes fall prevention strategies, goal setting to increase activity, and an exercise program to increase strength, flexibility, and balance.
You will learn to:
• View falls as controllable.
• Set goals for increasing activity.
• Make changes to reduce fall risks at home.
• Learn and do exercises to increase strength, endurance, flexibility, and balance.
