Our Benevolence Program

We serve those in our community who need help with past-due utility bills. This help is available on the First Wednesday of Each Month and is limited to $60-$100 per person as funds allow. We have a committee of six people who meet with those who come to our building from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM (Noon) only on that day. We interview the applicants and confirm their past-due bills with the utility company. Each applicant can receive help once a year for a maximum of 3 years.

UPDATE: Benevolence Committee decided to postpone helping with utilities due to the extreme cold weather and snow prediction for January 8th, 2025.

The Committee will meet on January 15th, 2025 from 10:00 AM - NOON.
